Fused Glass Types

There are two main types of fusible glass, COE 96 and COE 90.

All our precut shapes are avilable in both the main types of Fusible Glass so you can choose between COE 96 or COE 90 glass for your next creative glass project.

    Fused Glass Art

    Fused glass art is all about creating beautiful objects from a variety of pieces of glass that are heated and fused togther to create unique glass art. By using pre cut glass shapes, you can save time and effort while still achieving a unique custom piece.

    COE 96 Fused Glass

    Coe 96 Glass. COE stands for "Coefficient of expansion" which is the rate at which the glass expands when heated. Generally the higher the CEO number then the lower the temerature it softens at. With COE 96 fusible glass it's important to use the same glass type throughout your project to avoid cracking and shattering.

    COE 90 Fused Glass

    Coe 90 Glass. COE stands for "Coefficient of expansion" this is the rate at which the glass expands when heated and contracts when cooled. Generally the higher the melting temperature then the lower the COE number. It's important not to mix COE 90 glass with other types when fusing.
