Beetle Car Fused Glass Ornament

This is a little bug car that will look gorgeous on your Christmas tree. A vintage bug that will bring back memories for many. It is meant for that special person in your life who you share so much with. A best friend, a husband or wife, or maybe that funky niece that holds a special place in your heart. I like to drop these in stockings or give them for Secret Santa games as everyone loves them.

This fused glass ornament began as sheet glass that I cut, arranged and then cooked in my kiln. It was annealed properly for strength and durability. A silver bail was added to the top and a colorful ribbon was added to complete this sweet ride.

A bit about the Artist: I started out doing stained glass when I was 21 and then learned fused glass about 10 years ago. I recently started supplying glass precut shapes to other fused and stained glass artists. I truly love making new items that bring a twinkle to people's eye.
